The Sales Director is accountable for driving revenue growth within the region (EMEA), generating a pipeline, presenting solutions, creating proposals and closing business. While the primary focus will be on generating revenue in the EMEA region, having a global network in futures and equities is preferred. Experience working with capital markets firms in EMEA is required.
This position will be based in Europe.
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
• Executing all actions and steps needed to meet the revenue and growth targets within primary region (including hunting for new leads/contacts); and assist global sales staff in secondary region(s).
• Collaborating with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Providing prompt feedback to Product Management and Sales Management with regard to client and prospect product feedback.
• Maintaining and expand the company’s CRM; and where necessary, supporting marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
• Effectively communicating the value proposition and company brand.
• Understanding customer requirements and leveraging teammates to have relevant technical planning sessions.
• Successfully driving pipeline, revenue and sales goals through effective management of partner engagements and team selling.
• Managing complex contract negotiations and liaison with the Legal team.
• Developing and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for Eventus Systems to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales.
• Providing feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
Here's What You'll Bring to Eventus:
• University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
• Understanding of global equities, equity options, futures, FX, Fixed Income and/or Digital Asset classes.
• 10+ years sales experience in enterprise SaaS technology serving financial markets.
• Excellent collaborator, with an ability to work with virtual teams.
• Experience hunting for new leads and building successful relationships and negotiating with business leaders, especially the C-Suite.
• Skilled at working with technical teams through complex solution sales.
• Ability to regularly travel and attend sales events or exhibits.
